Position Title: Financial Management Specialist
Reports To: Manager, Corporate Services Division

Key Responsibilities
You’ll serve as a Financial Management Specialist, here are the main duties:
A. Budget Supervision and Execution
- Prepare draft budgets and review annual operating budgets.
- Manage the implementation of the budget according to public finance regulations.
- Now to prepare monthly and yearly budget execution reports.
- Develop periodic cash flow plans.
B. Payments and Financial Control
- Check requests for proper account numbers and validity.
- Free problem resolution: Timely distribution and disbursement of funds with accurate documentation.
- Cash Book and General Ledger are to be maintained for receipt and payment of revenue.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
C. Pre-Audit and Reporting
- Ensure that there are supporting documents for all payment vouchers.
- Oversee execution of audit recommendations from the prior fiscal year.
- To undertake all financial transactions and report to the Division Manager โ Corporate Services.

Either an AICE with at least three years of work Place of Workโ and either of the following conditions is satisfied:
a) Continuous Practice
b) continuous practice for a minimum of 6 months in the last 12 months which may be dispensed in the case of woman member on account of pregnancy.
- A good University degree in Accounting or Finance and be a member of any of the following accountancy professionโpreferably ICAN, or its equivalent (CA, ACCA etc)
- 3 years Relevant post qualification experience.
- Masterโs Degree in Accounting or Finance + CPA/CPFA/CPFM Intermediate or ACCA (Applied Skills Level) + 1 year post-qualification experience
Required Certifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Public Finance Management Accountant (CPFM) or CPFMA
- At least Part II ACCA or its equivalent
